Summit Alpine Resort

Lachung, Sikkim

Sitting at an elevation of 9,600 feet above sea level, Summit Alpine Resort is a deluxe property that is perfectly secluded for a much needed break from the busy life. Lachung has been described as "most picturesque village of Sikkim" by British explorer Joseph Dalton in his book The Himalayan Journal.

The resort provides the comfort of modern hospitality in each of the 7 Deluxe Rooms. The rooms are well furnished and spacious. Contemporary décor with fluffy beds and neat furnishings, and all basic amenities, makes for a comfortable stay and relaxing experience. Each room has a balcony with a fantastic view of the mountains all around the property.

Lachung is blessed abundantly by nature – snow clad mountains, pristine waterfalls, clear streams and vast fruits orchards. The mountain village is also home to the famous Lachung Monastery, Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary and the base of the Rhododendron Valley Trek. About an hour and half away from Lachung is Yumthang, known as the Valley of Flowers.

Summit Alpine Resort has a multi-cuisine restaurant that serves both popular and local food.
